The Garden.by ~Caelinay

I was working on a completely different piece while listening to The Chronicles of Narnia - The Magician's Nephew audiobook and felt like doodling from it. One of these doodles looked nice enough to become a fully colored illustration, so I went ahead and drew it.

I took some liberties with the composition - I know Jadis was suppoused to be hidden - because I felt like it would do better.

Also, I didn't paint it like I usually do. Which is actually a popular thing with me - not painting like I usually do. Soon there won't be a 'usual' to deviate from

. But here I felt a simpler shading will suit the style better.

I meant to say how utterly gorgeous this is earlier. The detail is amazing and the colours!
