I was working on a completely different piece while listening to The Chronicles of Narnia - The Magician's Nephew audiobook and felt like doodling from it. One of these doodles looked nice enough to become a fully colored illustration, so I went ahead and drew it.
I took some liberties with the composition - I know Jadis was suppoused to be hidden - because I felt like it would do better. Also, I didn't paint it like I usually do. Which is actually a popular thing with me - not painting like I usually do. Soon there won't be a 'usual' to deviate from  . But here I felt a simpler shading will suit the style better. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
