About three weeks ago I ran into this awesome torrent which was said to contain 46,000 painting by over 1,400 artists. Of course I downloaded it immediatly, and as it was about 6.2GB it only finished a couple of hours ago.

So I look inside the folder and it's organized into more folders - Classic A had folders inside it containing paintings by artists whose name start with A for example. So I check random folders out, and I get to Classic S - New.

The first folder in Classic S - New was, naturally, Sex Art.

And obviously inside it I got

(The rest of it, btw, is all good and harmless and artistic nudes only. XD A bit dissappointed by the lack of Bouguereau art. Only four paintings. Thank god for the ARC.)

I went to the beach today with and my friend Rotem. The sea stole my glasses, and now I'm blind. For example -

"Aww look at that cute dog!"
"Dog? Where?"
"Over there, by the cactus!"
"CACTUS?"

The cactus turned out to be what what looked to me like a ball of hay. I didn't know why there should be a ball of hay in the middle of Tel-Aviv, but why should there be any cacti anyway?

Oh yeah. So now I took the screen closer to me, and by closer I mean, of course, that my nose is touching the screen as I type. *enter stereotypical jew-joke here and move on*

Also, my legs are now black, my shoulders+left arm are red, and everything else is something in between the two. At least I'm not as white as a corpse anymore. Mission accomplished!

I'm having such an awesome summer! I've been going out almost every day, I threw a party for a friend which was very fun.

As for the prints - I've had almost every drawing from that list printed, set the prices, and I'm hoping for the best. It's my first time so I'm not going to bring a lot, just one of every kind because printing it all was already kind of pricey. Most of them came out so good quality-wise, I was so happy about it! But for some of the older pieces I lost the PSD files so I didn't have a high res file of them. They're not horribly pixelated, they're just not as sharp, and it's only two of them all. My friend told me that she didn't even notice until I showed her exactly where it's visible. Oh well, I just won't print those next time.

I'll probably have left overs after the con, I don't expect to sell everything (or anything), so when it's over I'll post the list here with the sizes and prices and everything if anyone would be interested.

Lets stop the Labels!

So I'm thinking about going to the Anime-con we have here in Israel in about three weeks and selling prints of some of my pieces. I've never done this before, I'm pretty sure I will end up losing money from no one buying the prints that I paid to have, but still it will be a good experience.

Hopefully the fact that none of my art is anime-related - the closest thing I have is some Harry Potter fanart - will be the reason they won't buy anything, and not the art itself. Yes, I am hoping everyone at the con will be shallow and stupid rather than them having a bad opinion about my art. XD

So what I need help with is this - since I've never done this before I have no idea what to do. Obviously I need to print some stuff and test the quality, but what about pricing? I know I need to cover the cost of the print, but how much do I add to that?

So anyway, here is a list of the piece I'm considering. I'd really appreciate it if you tell me what you think about it, and if you think there are some pieces that won't sell and I shouldn't spend money on printing them please say so. Do not spare my feelings, seriously. Oh, and if you think there something from my gallery that I should include in the list, say so too .
